We’re very excited to announce that Van Eerden Trucking has been awarded the EPA’s prestigious SmartWay Excellence Award for 2021!
This isn’t the first time we’ve been the recipient of this award, but each time we do, it becomes more meaningful as it reinforces that our own emissions standards and quality expectations continue to align with the EPA’s highest environmental performance standards. While successfully providing exceptional levels of service to our customers is critical to our business, the manner in which we do so is equally important. It is essential that we continually focus on our commitment to our core values including being environmentally conscious while doing all that we can to protect the environment we all share.
The annual SmartWay Excellence Award honors top shipping (retailers and manufacturers) and logistics company partners for superior environmental performance. The SmartWay Excellence Award also recognizes top truck, barge, and multimodal carrier partners that are setting efficiency benchmarks in how they move products and supplies.

Receiving the Smartway Excellence Award for two consecutive years is particularly noteworthy since only 10 carriers nationwide are recognized in the Refrigerated Truck Carrier category annually. It has taken a significant investment and highest level of collaborative team efforts to achieve this level of recognition.
